For the January 2018 Chew and Chat, Tim Kreth, AD4CJ, will demo the QRP Works SideKar for the KX3 and KX2. It allows you to see more of the CW or RTTY or PSK31 display, log contacts (it has room for 1000 QSOs), and control the radio via a tiny keyboard, and stores up to 20 macros for working contests, etc. Also, Dave Matthews, KI4PSR, will give a brief talk on the new uBitX radio. Other builders are encouraged to bring their uBitX radios to show, in whatever state of assembly they’re in.
Winlink support will also be offered at the EOC, after the Chew & Chat. Please contact Janise, KK4HTA (her call-sign at arrl.net) if you need help so we can be prepared to help. Bring your radio, computer, cables etc.
