WCARES Weekly Radio Nets The phone (voice) and Winlink portions of the WCARES Weekly Radio Net (aka the Monday Night net) are separate nets and operators are encouraged to regularly check in to both. Alternet: 40m
In 2026 on May 18 and November 16, 40m will be used for the Alternet. The Alternets take place at the end of the regular Monday Night phone (voice) net and allow WCARES to test simplex, HF and DMR communciation. Listen to the Monday Night phone net for any instructions or changes.

Alternate Power
In 2026, the first net each month are designated as Alternate Power nets. WCARES members are encouraged to check into these nets using battery, portable, solar etc. power – anything other than mains power.
Siren Test Monitoring – WC Outdoor Warning System
