You must live in Williamson Co., Tennessee or one of the surrounding middle-Tennessee counties and are expected to participate regularly in WCARES activities/events and sanctioned training as well as our training and emergency nets.

WCARES is affiliated with the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) which is coordinated by the ARRL.
WCARES Members receive access to numerous training and educational activities. Membership has specific requirements for active involvement and participation but membership is not required for all activities and many individuals participate in events and training opportunities without being a member.
