You must live in Williamson Co., Tennessee or one of the adjoining middle-Tennessee counties and participate regularly in WCARES activities/events and sanctioned training as well as our training and emergency nets. (For the Texas Williamson Co. ARES site see: wc-ares.org – note the hyphen.)
WCARES is affiliated with the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) which is coordinated by the ARRL.
WCARES Members receive access to numerous training and educational activities. Membership has specific requirements for active involvement and participation.
However, membership is not required for all activities and many individuals participate in events and training opportunities without being a member.
